EcoDecorating provides Interior Design and Decoration consultation to the ecologically conscientious client.
Services are offered by the following methods:
 Onsite Design Consultation • We come to your locatation, offer advice on improving the look, flow, and "greenness" of your space. A more complete design plan can be developed for you, if you so choose. (We generally limit this service to the metro Atlanta area, but may consider larger out-of-area projects.)
Onsite Design & Efficiency Consultation • We come to your locatation, offer advice on improving the look, flow, and "greenness" of your space, with part of the time spent focusing improving the efficiency (energy and water use, etc.).
Onsite Consultation and Implementation • We come to your locatation, develop a design plan, purchase materials and perform or schedule the labor required to complete the design. (We generally limit this service to the metro Atlanta area, but may consider larger out-of-area projects.)
Remote Consultation • Reduce the carbon footprint by keeping it digital. Submit the details of your space, digital photographs, your preferences and budget, and we will provide a design consultation via e-mail and/or our web site. You can purchase suggested products and materials through us, or we can recommend local sources if we have them, or you can choose to locate them on your own.
Designer Referral • If you desire an onsite consultation but are outside of the territory we serve, we can recommend and forward your information to an approved Designer/Decorator if we have one listed in your area, with whom you will then deal with directly.
Specialty Services
- Staging • In this tough housing market, extra steps can make the difference. Staging can improve the perception of your home to a prospective buyer. Additionally, we can review your home's efficiency, which, if improved, can be used as another selling point. Staging can also be used in retail/commercial applications.
- Parties • We don't cater (though we probably know people who do), but if you want your party to have a "green theme", we can help you set it up.
- Feng Shui • We won't claim to be expert practitioners, but some of our Designers have been familiar with Feng Shui for many years and can incorporate its principles into your consultation. Please indicate your interest prior to the consultation time so that we can verify that an appropriate Designer is available and prepared.
- Landscape Consultation • Because we are not a licensed landscape design firm, Georgia Law prevents us from istalling any landscape aplications, but we can make suggestions which may help in the current climate (like drought and watering restrictions), and possibly improve your home's efficiency (like planting wind and sun screens), that you can do yourself or hand over to a licensed landscaper to implement.
